This Privacy Policy describes how SpeechCue ("we," "our," or "the App") handles information when you use our macOS teleprompter application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

SpeechCue does not collect any personal data. We do not require account creation, registration, or login. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
1.2 Usage Data
SpeechCue does not collect usage data, analytics, or telemetry. We do not track how you use the app, which features you access, or how often you use the application.
1.3 User Content
Any content you create in SpeechCue (such as presentation notes, scripts, and speech text) is stored exclusively on your local device. This content is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.
2. How We Use Information
Since we do not collect any information, we do not use your data for any purpose. All app functionality operates entirely on your device.
3. Data Storage
All data created within SpeechCue is stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS storage mechanisms. Your data remains on your device and under your control. We recommend using your standard macOS backup solutions (such as Time Machine) to protect your content.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. SpeechCue contains:
- No advertising SDKs
- No analytics services
- No social media integrations
- No third-party tracking tools
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Apple App Store
SpeechCue is distributed through the Apple Mac App Store. Apple may collect information related to your App Store account and purchase history according to Apple's Privacy Policy. SpeechCue does not have access to this information.
5.2 No Other Third Parties
Beyond the App Store distribution, SpeechCue does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services.
6. Children's Privacy
SpeechCue does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, our app is safe for users of all ages. However, SpeechCue is designed for professional presentation use and is not specifically targeted at children.
7. Data Security
Because all data remains on your local device and is never transmitted over the internet, your content is protected by your Mac's built-in security features, including FileVault encryption if enabled. We recommend keeping your macOS and security settings up to date.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data, traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion) do not apply to our services. You have full control over your locally stored content and can delete it at any time by removing files from your device or uninstalling the application.
9. International Users
SpeechCue operates entirely offline on your device. No data is transferred internationally or stored on servers in any jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
